  The pastor tries to preach the word of God accurately but is definitely on the legalistic side and I grew up in a Baptist Church - as the Preacher's kid. The people were sadly unfriendly - I thought maybe they were having a bad day? Pastor also railed against certain Christian authors/books/ideas.
